![]() With a unique perspective on cannabis culture and a focus on sustainability and quality, Mike generously shares his valuable tips and tricks on this platform. ![]() His love for cannabis and profound knowledge of its cultivation have led him to explore every facet of this captivating plant, from classic strains to the latest trends in cultivation and advanced techniques. Born and raised in the heart of the West Coast, Mike has dedicated his life to honing his skills as a cultivator, becoming a true master of the plant. And those things look great, any level of grower would be pumped.Mike Wilson is a passionate cannabis cultivator with over a decade of experience in the California cannabis industry. The stalk the one in the white pot looks crazy. And the one in the white pot, I would thin it down 5-10% in the upper canopy. The plant in the next to last pic, I would thin the top canopy down prob 15-20% now to get a little better airflow and light penetration. The plant in the first picture, I wouldn’t do much pruning other than the bottom, it looks good. If it were me, I would clean up the bottom 12-18 inches of all the plants, all the stuff that is completely under the canopy. Maybe start designing a wagon or something now so it’s ready. Keep the jostling to a minimum, it could damage the roots, but just do your best, don’t get super stressed for now. I would just go 1.5tsp/g on the tiger bloom, the recomended rate on the bottle for the big bloom, and 1-2ml/g of the mammoth p every watering. You need the elevated levels of phosphorus once your flowers set. You are good to start the Tiger Bloom now. $10 a month to share in the DGC community and stay connected to your garden is a pittance! DGC por Vida! You guys have taught me how to grow the dank, so for that I’m eternally grateful. Is that deal a one-time thing for new members? Or can I continue to enjoy the Recharge goodness for 30% off while living DGC for life, or whatever? And Dude, I’m bustin balls, where’s my welcome package man?! Lol I know it’s summer, dude, but come on, I’ve been DGC for months! Sorry for the super long letter, but I wanted to give y’all an update on my totally fucking epic, to me anyway, first time outdoor grow. So, the Recharge 30% off for DGC members is pretty goddam dope. I want all her love to go to dem dank buds. Do you think there’s much risk to irritating the roots or maybe damaging the buds? Your thoughts on defoliating? I’m tempted to give the huge gorilla glue a good final pruning but I’m not trying to stress her out at all with recovery. What’s up? Another question, I drag my huge 18 gal pots across my lawn to the super sunny area of my yard during the day, then drag them back to their little dark house with some jostling along the way, sometimes pretty bumpy. I’ve also got FoxFarm TigerBloom on hand but I’m not too sure when I’d add that into the mix. Anyway, I’m creeping up on 3wks of flower and slowly backing off the nitrogen and slowly adding my bloom nutes, FoxFarm Big Bloom and Mammoth P. It’s totally working for me, so I gotta share the grow hack, for sure. 2 steps ahead of ya! Maybe I was channeling some Scotty Real mojo through the plants, man! I’d like to post a how/to on my method for making these breathable, dark ass walls for a pretty bullet-proof outdoor light dep grow. So, Scotty my man, your my kind of people. As it happens, as I was listening to him say it, I was just finishing my fabrication with said weed-blocker material. Nice little buds forming! Dude, you recommended Forever Flowering as a possible source for light-dep material, and that’s still maaaaaaybe a possibility for me, but, Scotty suggested the weed-blocker material. ![]() Obviously the Recharge is doing its thing, and they are just over 2 wks into flower with the light dep at the usual 7am-7pm schedule. You guys have never steered me wrong in advice on my first solo grow, and being a contributing member of the DGC has paid itself back over and over again, so thank you dudes! If you recall, I’m growing 2 big ass Gorilla Glue #4 and one Obama Kush outdoors in Portland, Oregon, with a DIY light-dep schedule, that’s totally working by the way! These girls are so fucking goddamn happy I can’t stand it. I’ve got a couple of questions for you guys, but first I’d like to tell you what’s growin on in my grow. Hey there Dude & Scotty! BackYardGrowDad here again with yet another chime in. ![]()
